One of the nice things about joining a Blogging Group is the opportunity to blog about events. Many companies tap blog groups to create articles on their events. Cebu Blogging Community was asked to send bloggers to the BPI Auto Madness Event in Ayala and I volunteered to join this particular event. While I have been concentrating on my Kalami Cebu Food Blog, I have other blogs where I can put my article for the BPI Auto Madness.
The main reason I volunteered for the event is that I used to work in the car industry. My sales career started with Volkswagen then the Jaguar Group. I used to man car exhibits during my younger days. I am quite familiar with the industry and I know that I can come out with a relevant article on short notice.
I arrived around 2 hours earlier than the scheduled opening. I saw some familiar people from BPI and the car companies. I looked around and took some photos of the beautiful cars on display.
I did not know who to contact in that event, good thing I was able to message the in charge and asked who to look for in the event. I met Jam of BPI just before the program started and he gave me a brief about the event and it had a planner as a give-away.
After the program, I talked to some agents about their new car offerings. I asked about their deals and freebies as well. I really miss selling cars. I can say that it is way easier to sell cars than real estate although real estate still offers way more money than car selling. ;)
I really had fun covering the BPI Auto Madness event and I was able to post an article after a couple of hours. It was my first ever event as a "blogger". My souvenir for the event was the planner given by BPI to me. I am gonna use it to take notes on my next projects. ;)
